Letterforms Mahindra bhai Patel

While constructing the word HONGUSKYIE in both roman and a regional script, we got a chance to apply the principles we were learning through the week - Visual centre, weights in form, proportions, endings, visual spacing and alignment, keeping the continuity and overall look. We experienced how these parameters change from one script to the next. Through the process of developing the final font we critiqued each others’ work through which we analyzed the different ways of improving the letterforms. The importance of articulating the precise problem using the correct vocabulary was emphasized.
